Gasoline prices in West Virginia fall by about 6 cents per gallon

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- The price of a gallon of gas in West Virginia fell by about six cents from last week, to about $ 3.35 for regular unleaded.

That's seven cents above the national average.

AAA says it expects gas prices to fall in the months to come because of supplies, flat demand and cheaper winter-blend gasoline.

Gas prices in West Virginia range from about $3.25 a gallon in Clarksburg and Parkersburg to about $3.39 in Wheeling.
