Gas prices rise in West Virginia

Gas prices rise nearly 2 cents in West Virginia over past week, average $3.34 per gallon

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Gas prices rose nearly 2 cents over the past week in West Virginia.

AAA East Central says the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas in the state was about $3.34. That's down about a penny per gallon compared with the same week a year ago.

This week's prices range from $3.20 a gallon in Huntington to $3.46 in Martinsburg.

Nationally, gas prices average $3.22 per gallon, about 4 cents less than the previous week.
