Gasoline prices drop 8 cents in past week in West Virginia, average $3.58 a gallon

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Gasoline prices have dropped for the fourth straight week in West Virginia.

AAA East Central says the average price for a gallon of unleaded gasoline fell 8 cents in the past week to $3.58.

Prices range from $3.47 in Parkersburg to $3.69 in Martinsburg and Morgantown.

A year ago, gas prices averaged $3.92 in West Virginia.

Gas prices nationally also fell 8 cents in the past week to average $3.52 per gallon.
