Gas prices continue their climb in RI; up 3 cents
Gas prices in Rhode Island inch up again; per-gallon average up 3 cents from last week
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Gas prices in Rhode Island are up again, this time by three cents.
AAA Southern New England said Monday the average cost of a gallon of regular is $3.82, up from $3.79 last week.
Prices locally are up 28 cents in the past month, and the current average in Rhode Island is five cents higher than the national per-gallon average of $3.77.
Rhode Islanders were paying an average of $3.77 a year ago.
The AAA survey found prices ranging from a low of $3.75 to a high of $3.94.
