PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Gasoline prices have continued their decline in Rhode Island, dropping three cents in the last week.

AAA Southern New England said Tuesday that the average cost of a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $3.70. That's down 24 cents in the last month.

The current price locally is 26 cents above the per-gallon national average.

Rhode Islanders were paying an average of $3.50 a gallon a year ago this week.
