GameStop Black Friday Sale Hours

This year, Gamestop will be starting their Black Friday sales online on Wednesday at 9 p.m. Eastern. Gamestop will be opening their doors on Thanksgiving at 3 p.m. for all Black Friday sales.

GameStop Black Friday Sale Analysis

GameStop has great deals each year, but here’s a look at how this year’s GameStop Black Friday deals measure up.

Last year's featured gaming deals were the Xbox One S 500GB console for $189 and the PS4 1TB console for $199. This year, we're still seeing deals on both those systems, but bundled deals. Both systems are $199, with various games thrown in. Plus, note that the Xbox One S bundle involves the 1 TB console this year. So, in both cases, you are getting a better value.

The bigger news is that you can get $70 off the Xbox One X, which saw no discounts last year.

Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch received its first major discount, being bundled with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a $50 gift card. This is the first major savings for the Nintendo Switch and a fantastic deal.

In virtual reality gaming last year, we saw the PS VR headset in a Gran Turismo Sport bundle for $299. This year, the headset is bundled with two games for $249.99.
