‘Game of Thrones’ White Walkers Ride Into London and Other Brilliant Marketing Stunts

In advance of the Game of Thrones Season 7 premiere, a group of actors dressed as White Walkers invaded central London. The White Walkers were led by the Night King on horseback. They walked over Tower Bridge and on the streets of Oxford Circus, and they even posed in front of Buckingham Palace.

Each actor spent four hours in makeup to get the look of the characters just right. Delighted onlookers took photos and video that they posted to social media, garnering lots of publicity for the seventh season of Game of Thrones.
