Gabby Concepcion's daughter joins Miss Universe-Sweden
12 Aug - Gabby Concepcion's daughter, Cloie Syquia Skarne, is set to join the Miss Universe Sweden 2016.
As reported on Push, the 22-year-old recently posted photos of herself in Manila alongside half-sister, actress KC Concepcion, as they worked out in a gym in preparation for the upcoming pageant.
"Being healthy is beautiful," wrote Skarne. "Working on our health and fitness with an intense workout session! Power to us women! Getting ready for [Miss Universe Sweden 2016]"
She also shared several more photos including one with another half-sister, Garrie.
Skarne, who is based in Sweden, is the daughter of Gabby Concepcion and ex-wife, former actress Jenny Syquia. Following Syquia's divorce from Concepcion and her subsequent marriage to Swedish man Filip Skarne, Cloie decided to adopt his surname instead.
In her profile found on the Miss Universe Sweden website, she is currently an ambassador for Operation Smile Philippines, and that her dream is to improve conditions for children growing up in poverty.
In the event that she wins the title, Skarne will be competing against Philippine's bet, Maxine Medina, at the Miss Universe 2016 to be held in the Philippines.
