The future of the Xbox One will be unveiled on June 9th

E3 preparation is officially in full swing as Microsoft has begun sending out invites for its E3 2014 Media Briefing. “Xbox: Game On,” as the briefing has been dubbed, will take place inside the Galen Center on USC’s campus, the same location that has held the press conference in past years. The briefing will be held on Monday, June 9th at 9:30 a.m. PDT, and BGR will be on hand covering the event live.

If you won’t be attending the briefing this year, don’t worry: we’ll be liveblogging from the event right here on BGR. You can also watch the event live with pre-show coverage on Xbox.com, Xbox Live, Windows Phone starting at 9:00 a.m. and on Spike TV starting at 9:30 a.m. (in the U.S. and Canada).

Major Nelson has provided a short, vague outline for the event as well:

“During the briefing, you’ll be treated to everything from in-depth looks at previously announced games to trailers for our unannounced games coming in 2014 and beyond.”

There haven’t been much indication as to what exactly Microsoft will be showing off at its press conference this year, but one massive leak from January might have spoiled a few surprises, such as the announcements of Forza Horizon, Halo 2 Anniversary and Fable Legends. Just 34 days until we see the future of the Xbox One for ourselves.
