NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire -09/04/12)- fun. has announced a major partnership with non-profit group, REVERB and Ben & Jerry's for the upcoming REVERB Campus Consciousness Tour. The tour will hit an array of colleges across the country this fall (see below itinerary).

The REVERB Campus Consciousness Tour (CCT) is both a concert and social cause campaign, aimed at educating and mobilizing students to take positive action. This CCT's social focus will be for LGBTQ equality. (LGBTQ is a widely used acronym that stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning/queer.)

In addition, the tour itself will be as Earth-friendly as possible.

fun. fans attending the REVERB Campus Consciousness Tour will have the opportunity to connect with their campus LGBTQ organizations, learn how to get involved in the fight to get corporate money out of politics, and of course, sample free Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.

The upcoming trek marks the second year in a row that fun. has participated in the CCT.

The show will help raise awareness for the November 6th citizens' initiative vote to allow same-sex couples to receive a marriage license in the state of Maine. In other news, fun.'s album "SOME NIGHTS," recently reached RIAA gold certification status for sales in excess of 500,000. The album sales were fueled by the success of "We Are Young (Feat.
