Fugitive caught in Hillsdale County yesterday afternoon

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Michigan State Police First District Fugitive Team caught a man they say was arrested at the Baw Beese Inn on April 9, around 1 p.m.

Michigan State Police say the 26-year-old man from Calhoun County had a warrant for his arrest in Jackson County. Officials say during the arrest, police noticed a possible bomb in his vehicle.

The Michigan State Police Bomb Squad was called to the scene and said they successfully obtained the bomb and the suspect was taken into custody.

Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
