A dad who was ridiculed by Piers Morgan for dressing up as Frozen princess Elsa with his son has appeared on Good Morning Britain to challenge the host to try wearing the dress.

Orjan Buroe recorded a video of himself and his four-year-old son wearing matching Elsa costumes and dancing around their home to the Frozen soundtrack. It went viral with viewers’ support for the dad.

He told CBS: “Just like kids don’t see colour of skin, he just sees something that’s great. For him, Elsa is a superhero.

“It’s important to teach children that you can do whatever you want to do and not put prejudice all over them.”

While many people found the Norwegian’s attitude inspiring, outspoken Morgan was not one of them and he tweeted that he thought praising Boroe’s parenting skills was nonsense.

However, Boroe appeared as a guest on Monday’s GMB where he wore the dress for his interview and encouraged Morgan to try on one he’d brought with him.

Boroe said: “It’s not for the audience, it’s for Elise (Morgan’s daughter), and she would love to see you wearing this.”

Morgan replied: “My daughter’s called Elise and she loves the Frozen dress, but I’m not going to wear it.”

But he did manage to get showbiz reporter Richard Arnold to try it on, saying: “He’ll wear it, it’s your kind of thing.”

Although Morgan had been scathing in his criticism of Boroe when his video first went viral, the dad stayed calm and easily answered Morgan’s complaints.

He proved that not only was he able to rock a Disney princess dress, he could also play football while wearing it.

Viewers were keen to see Morgan give the costume a try though, so he may not be able to Let It Go just yet.
