Frontier Airlines launching nonstop service to Baltimore, Dallas-Fort Worth out of DTW

Buckle up, Frontier fliers, as the airline prepares to connect Michigan to even more of the map.

As of Wednesday, April 10, Frontier Airlines has launched a new nonstop route from Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) to Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI), with service set for four times a week.

Later this month, on April 22, Frontier will be launching another nonstop route from DTW to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), also to fly out four times a week, adding up to a total of 12 Frontier-flown destinations out of Detroit.

In celebration, Frontier is offering one-way airfares as low as $39, valid for nonstop travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays through Sept. 30, 2024, excluding the following blackout days: May 24-30; Jun. 28-30; Jul. 1-7; Aug. 30-31; Sep. 1-3. Tickets must be purchased before 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on April 19, 2024.

“We’re thrilled to launch these new routes, connecting our customers in Michigan with even more parts of the country,” said Josh Flyr, vice president, network and operations design, Frontier Airlines. “Our increased service from DTW further supports our commitment to providing ‘Low Fares Done Right’ in underserved and overpriced markets across the county.”

Flight frequencies and times are subject to change. Extra travel services, like baggage or advanced seating options, may be available for an additional charge.
