Friday forecast calls for sunny skies in Northern California

Friday morning was a chilly start to the day for parts of Northern California because of a Delta breeze cooling the region overnight. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said the morning will see stratus clouds meander around the Delta and parts of the Sacramento Valley. As the day progresses, you can expect mostly sunny skies and slightly warmer temperatures. Berg said Friday's peak highs could be in the low-to-mid 80s.
