Fresno fire station vandalized with rocks

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A fire station in Fresno was vandalized after someone threw rocks through the windows while firefighters were inside, according to the Fresno Fire Department.

Firefighters say on Friday at 1:30 a.m. Fire Station Five located at 3131 N. Fresno Street was attacked by someone throwing rocks through the windows.

According to firefighters, crews were inside the building when the vandalism happened. They also say no personnel was injured.

The Fresno Fire Department posted pictures of the damage, shown in the pictures below.

Officials also ask people to respect the city’s buildings and property and leave the rocks where they belong – on the ground.
