This Fresno dispensary is getting its grand opening this weekend

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Sweet Flower Dispensary in central Fresno is holding a grand opening on Saturday.

Management say it will be the first and only dispensary in Fresno City Council District 7 and the most locally integrated dispensary.

How is the Artist Tree in Fresno marking April 20 – or 420 day?

They say they will have grab bags for all customers, exclusive first-time discounts, vendors, food trucks, DJs, and more.

The dispensary says they operate only in California and the Fresno store is the eighth one the owners have opened.

So we’ve been working in Fresno for about four years with a bunch of different community groups,” said Tim Dodd, CEO and co-founder of Sweet Flower. “Including like Poverello House and a number of other local charities to get us set up in Fresno. So this is the culmination of a long process.”

Other stores operated by Sweet Flower are in Los Angeles, Culver City, Pasadena and Chico.

“Why Fresno? I love Fresno. I’m actually from a very, very small farming town myself. It makes Fresno look like Manhattan, so I’m really excited about Fresno,” said Dodd.

Sweet Flowers in Fresno is located at 3123 N Maroa Avenue at will open on Saturday at 8 a.m.
