FREMONT — A Toledo man faces several felony charges after allegedly sending sexually explicit messages and images to a Fremont police officer posing as a 15 year-old female in a social networking platform.
Kevin Rushing, 35, also offered to "pimp" the officer out to several men, according to a Fremont Police Department report.
Police arrested Rushing on Friday and charged him with trafficking in persons, importuning, attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and compelling prostitution.
According to the police report, a Fremont officer posed as 15-year-old female juvenile over a social networking platform.
Rushing initiated contact with the officer and offered to engage in and pay for sex.
The man traveled to a prearranged location in the City of Fremont, where he was arrested.
FPD's investigation revealed Rushing previously communicated with the officer utilizing two other phone numbers and sent explicit images on Feb. 17.
According to police, Rushing confirmed he offered to engage in and pay for sex with the officer posing as the teen.
Rushing mentioned he has “urges” to talk like this.
During one of the Feb. 17 conversations with the undercover officer, Rushing advised he was a “pimp” and sent an explicit message that he had several other men waiting to engage in sex with the 15-year-old girl.
Rushing was booked into the Sandusky County Jail and is being held without bond.
