Fremont Chipotle shut down due to fire

(KRON) — Fremont Fire Department responded to a commercial fire at Chipotle Mexican Grill at 2760 Mowry Ave. in Fremont on Thursday morning. The fire caused the restaurant to close until further notice, fire officials said.

The fire occurred at about 9:15 a.m. on Thursday. Crews arrived to find an automatic fire extinguishing system activation and the smothering of a “small fire,” Fremont Fire said.

No injuries have been reported by fire officials.

While the 2760 Mowry Ave. location is closed, there are two additional Chipotle locations in Fremont to choose from: 5565 Auto Mall Pkwy and 44029 Osgood Rd #106.
