Just in case you want to face two of life's greatest feats - visiting the tallest mountain in the world and getting reservations at a hot new restaurant - you won't want to miss the latest creation from ex-Noma chef James Sharman.

The famed chef is opening a temporary restaurant on Mount Everest, but luckily, you don't have to make the perilous trek to the top of the mountain. Though the restaurant will be located at the Everest base camp, the dining experience will still be surrounded by Nepal's snowy peaks. It's the latest project of the chef's One Star House Party, a traveling group of cuisine pros who eat food around the globe, according to Luxury Listings NYC.

Don't expect to be too pampered, though. Despite the celeb chef affiliation, you have to do some hiking for your food.

According to One Star House Party, the dining experience is actually part of a 14-day trip from December 10 to December 23. For $1,050 per person, a total of 15 guests will receive accommodation in guest houses during the journey, porters, guides, park passes, a sleeping bag at each guest house and down jackets for the evenings. Oh, and FYI, you need to bring purifying tablets - or you can purchase a water sterilizer for the trip.

Whether that sounds like a grand adventure or a grand reason to be thankful for your city's temperature-controlled dining options is up to your own discretion.

One thing is for certain though: Restaurants aren't just about the food anymore. They're about the entire experience in which you eat the food (freezing temps or not), and how far you'll go to experience the grub.
