‘Freelance’ Leads The Way at Thailand’s Subhanahongsa Awards

Freelance,” a comedy drama from the now defunct GTH studios, dominated proceedings at the Thailand National Film Association Awards, better known as the Subhanahongsa Awards.

The film, also known as “Heart Attack,” was released in September and grossed close to $500,000 (THB16 million) in Thailand.

At a ceremony on Sunday night in Bangkok, it scooped best director award for as well as most of the acting prizes on offer.

Best Original Score: Hualamphong Riddim for “Freelance”

Best Original Song: Sood Sai T and Ter Dern Kao Mao

Best Cinematography: Urupong Raksasaj for “The Songs of Rice”
