Freed Hamas hostages tell their tales

STORY: Natthaporn Onkaew is home after being

held hostage for nearly two months by Hamas

He is among several former hostages

speaking to Reuters about their ordeal

"They hurt us. After hurting us, they took us somewhere and went through our belongings, before taking us down into the tunnels. They covered our faces and took us down the tunnels and we stayed there underground."

"They gave us bread, two meals a day for breakfast and dinner. They gave us a bottle of water each day to share between two people. We didn't get to shower, we were only able to just brush our teeth for two months."

He was working on an Israeli farm when

he was abducted in the October 7 attacks

"I can't describe it. It's like I died and was reborn again."
