Free hot meals resume inside at Robertsville Baptist Church

Tabitha’s Table, the food ministry of Robertsville Baptist Church, has resumed serving hot meals inside the church Fellowship Hall each Monday from 6 to 6:45 a.m.

It operates on the Oak Ridge Schools schedule and will be closed on official holidays, snow days and during special church events, such as Vacation Bible School, according to a church news relee.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. In addition to the food, the church library features an extensive collection of Christian nonfiction, fictional books and movies that can be checked out and returned on another visit.

"COVID-19 continues to be present in our lives, so please be mindful of others. If you are not feeling well, running a fever or have been recently exposed to someone with COVID, please stay home," the release stated.

Volunteers are always welcome to help with Tabitha’s Table. Contact the church office 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at (865) 483-1316.
