Have a (free) coffee with your donut: Duck Donuts offering drink promotion in April

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Struggle to get going in the morning sometimes? Duck Donuts is offering a treat throughout the month of April that will help customers get their caffeine fix along with their morning meal.

From Monday through Friday this month, guests who purchase either two donuts or a breakfast sandwich can also get a free medium hot coffee or cold brew. The promotion is available for in-store purchases only from open to 11 a.m. at all Duck Donut locations.

According to the company, Duck Donuts’ Signature Blend “consists of rare and exceptional beans primarily sourced from the mountainous Boquet region of Panama” that produce a medium to dark roast coffee with fruit notes.

The franchise is well-known for its customizable donuts, offering a variety of coatings, toppings and drizzles from traditional chocolate icing to the more adventurous bacon bits. There’s also a menu of fan favorites with names like “Beach Ball” and “The Flip Flop” that give a nod to the company’s original store locations in the North Carolina Outer Banks towns of Duck and Kitty Hawk.

Duck Donuts was founded in the Outer Banks in 2007 and is now headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA. It began franchising in 2013 and now has 150 stores in 25 states, Puerto Rico, and several international locations.

There are three Duck Donuts locations in the Triangle and two in Fayetteville:
