Frankfort and Hanover both win state titles in girls’ basketball

KANSAS (KSNT) – It’s party time for a handful of Northeast Kansas high school basketball teams, including Frankfort and Hanover.

Frankfort girls’ basketball won the 1A DI state title on Saturday, beating Little River 47-41. Hanover girls’ won the 1A DII championship, beating Lebo 50-35.

It’s back-to-back titles for Hanover, who won 1A DII state in 2023 as well. For the Frankfort Wildcats, the victory marks their first state title in program history.
