Fox Chase Court shooting: Couple found dead, murder-suicide suspected

HOUSTON - A couple was found dead in a northwest Harris County home after an apparent murder-suicide, authorities say.

The sheriff’s office says deputies with the Pct. 5 Constable’s Office were initially called to a welfare check in the 6200 block of Fox Chase Court around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday.

When they entered the home, they found a man and a woman dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

The sheriff’s office was contacted, and the HCSO Homicide Unit is now investigating.

Deputies say the couple, believed to be married, were last heard from by a family friend on Saturday, and a neighbor reported hearing gunshots on Saturday.

According to authorities, the investigation is still underway, but the couple’s deaths appear to be the result of a murder-suicide. The sheriff’s office says weapons were found at the scene.
