Fourth suspect arrested in deadly Baton Rouge shooting
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department has arrested a fourth suspected after a deadly shooting on Washington Avenue.
According to the police, Treylen Williams, 18, was arrested in connection to the deadly shooting of David Atkins, 18.
Williams was arrested Thursday and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery.
The other suspects who were arrested include Travelle Burris, 19, and two juveniles, police said.
Police believe a robbery was the motive that led to the shooting.

Atkins was identified as the juvenile who had escaped the juvenile detention center in November 2023.
