Four teens arrested after two burglaries of Tallahassee smoke shop

Four teens were arrested by Leon County sheriff's deputies Sunday on charges of grand theft and burglary after they burglarized a northwest Tallahassee smoke shop, according to a press release.

Around 3 a.m. the day after Christmas, deputies responded to a report of a business burglary at the A1 Smoke Shop, 3813 N. Monroe St., where they found shattered doors and missing property.

Other public safety news:

Hours later, four teens — aged 18, 17, 17 and 16 — were found and taken into custody before the missing merchandise was recovered.

The 18-year-old was taken to the Leon County Detention Facility while the three others were brought to the local Juvenile Assessment Center.

According to the sheriff's office, surveillance video connected all the suspects to another burglary that took place Thursday at the smoke shop.
