Four Points by Sheraton in Scranton transitions to ANZ Hospitality

Apr. 7—The former Four Points by Sheraton Scranton in South Side has transitioned to ANZ Hospitality, a spokesman said Friday.

The hotel at 300 Meadow Ave. is still in the midst of leaving the Four Points by Sheraton brand, which is part of the Marriott International group, but is open for business as it steps into its new identity, said Tristan Hebron, a front desk guest services spokesman.

"There are some semantics involved, but currently our name is ANZ Hospitality," said Hebron, who indicated the process started about two months ago.

Chester County-based ANZ Scranton LLC, an affiliate of ANZ Hospitality, purchased the 135-room hotel in 2020 for $6.5 million, according to The Times-Tribune archives.
