Four people injured after two motorcycles strike deer on I-90

May 26—ROCHESTER — Two people were taken to the hospital after two motorcycles struck a deer on Interstate 90 near Dexter, Minnesota on Saturday.

Both motorcycles were eastbound on I-90 when they struck a deer near mile post 192 near Dexter Township in Mower County, according to a Minnesota State Patrol crash report. The crash happened around 5:37 p.m.

A total of four people were on the two motorcycles. Two of the motorcyclists — 34-year-old Emmons resident Jacob Ryan Johnson, the driver of one of the motorcycles; and his passenger, Alexis Danielle Gullickson, 26 of Albert Lea — were transported to St. Marys Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The two other motorcyclists — 35-year-old Emmons resident Anthony Jerome Woodraska, and Maria Guadalupe Alvarado, 36 of Andrews, Texas — had non-life-threatening injuries but were not transported to the hospital.

The Mower County Sheriff, Dexter Fire and Mayo Ambulance also responded to the scene.
