Four people displaced after fire breaks out inside Southeast DC home

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Four people were displaced after a fire broke out inside a home in Southeast D.C.

DC Fire and EMS responded to the fire which was located in the 16th St. The fire broke out in the first floor of a two-story home.

Parents allege drug use, violence at Youth Services Center in DC

The residents said their fire alarm alerted them and then they saw e-bike batteries that were on top of their refrigerator sparking.

No injuries were reported but two children and two adults were displaced from their home.
