Four injured in multi-vehicle crash on Rt. 29 in Lynchburg

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR)– The Lynchburg Police Department reports nine vehicles were involved in a multi-vehicle crash on Rt. 29 near Candlers Mountain Road and Odd Fellow Road on Wednesday, April 3.

Although details remain limited, LPD says a Toyota Tundra was allegedly unable to stop in time with quickly slowing heavy traffic. This caused numerous collisions with eight separate vehicles in traffic.

Lynchburg Police charge three after robbery on Moseley Drive

Police say four patients were taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.

The driver of the Toyota was charged and issued a summons for Following to Close.
