Fountain Police asking for help with alleged armed robber

(FOUNTAIN, Colo.) — The Fountain Police Department (FPD) said it needs the community’s help identifying a suspect in a pair of armed robberies.

According to FPD, the unidentified man is suspected of committing two armed robberies in Fountain. One was at the Walgreens located at 7910 Fountain Mesa Road and one at the Circle K located at 6480 South Highway 85.

FPD describes the suspect as a white man, with a heavy build, tattoos on the top of both forearms, and wearing glasses. In the first robbery, the suspect was described as wearing all dark clothing and a black face mask. Police said in the second robbery the man wore a “King of Spades” blue hoodie, blue sweats, and an orange balaclava with a lion image on the mouth.
