The Foundation Brush One Celebrity Calls ‘The Best in the History of Time’
Though she’s known for pairing color-popping costumes with her alter ego’s equally outrageous personality, Mindy Kaling is dropping more than one-liners. She just revealed how she makes her skin look so flawless.
On Sunday, the Mindy Project star and creator took to Instagram to share her favorite products. In her roundup of “Thing I bought that I love,” Kaling featured Kat Von D’s Lock-It Edge Foundation Brush. Her rave review said, “Only the best foundation brush in the history of Time,” in one of several Instagram story entries.
For $34, Sephora.com describes the brush as a “high-performance foundation brush with an exclusive sculpted shape for precision from every angle.” The vegan brush also won a 2017 Allure Best of Beauty Award earlier this year.
Other products in the beauty line, started by celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D, are also available for purchase at Sephora.com. Among them is the brush’s complementary Lock-It Foundation, which comes in 31 different shades.
It appears Kaling is a fan of animal- and eco-friendly makeup products. Last year, her makeup artist Katey Denno told InStyle that she used Vapour's Aura Multi-Use Classic Stick ($36) to create a “naturally flushed look.”
“I've always loved making Mindy Kaling's cute cheeks glow with these creams,” Denno said in the interview.
