Foster Wheeler buys Yonkers Industries
Foster Wheeler buys company that manages building and commissioning of drugmaking facilities
NEW YORK (AP) -- Swiss engineering and construction company Foster Wheeler AG said Wednesday that it bought Yonkers Industries Inc., a privately held company that manages the construction and commissioning of pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities.
Terms of the purchase were not disclosed. Yonkers has about 200 employees and has offices in California, North Carolina, and Puerto Rico.
Foster Wheeler shares fell 21 cents to $24.53 in morning trading.
