Fort Walton Beach man accused of robbing Shell gas station armed with mace: Police

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A Northwest Florida man was arrested after he allegedly robbed a store armed with mace, according to the Fort Walton Beach Police Department.

FWPD officers were called to a Shell gas station at 401 Miracle Strip Parkway SW at around 8:17 p.m. on Monday, April 15, on reports of a robbery.

ROBBERY LOCATION:

When officers arrived, they received a description of the suspect and were told that he stole cash and threatened the store clerk with mace.

The store clerk was not injured in the incident, according to reports.

Officers reportedly saw a man matching the suspect’s description. The man, identified as 21-year-old Jarious T. Hill of Fort Walton Beach, allegedly fled after seeing law enforcement.

Pensacola man accused of firing shots into car at convenience store

Police arrested Hill after “a short foot pursuit,” according to reports.

Hill was charged with robbery and booked into the Okaloosa County Jail.
