The homecoming ceremony took place at the William “Bill” Reed Special Event Center on post and began at 8 a.m. on Tuesday. According to Fort Carson, the 2nd SBCT deployed to U.S. Pacific Command’s area of operations “to support the United States’ commitment to the Republic of Korea,” and was part of a regular rotation of forces.

The soldiers were assigned to the 8th Army Headquarters in Korea and worked to improve security and cooperation with partner militaries and increase regional stability.
