Former U.S. Surgeon General: wide distribution of COVID-19 vaccine by spring is ‘optimistic’ plan

Former U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy commented on Dr. Anthony Fauci and CDC Director Robert Redfield saying they expect a COVID-19 vaccine to be widely available by spring 2021, calling it an optimistic plan, “We would need to get a vaccine pretty quickly…we would need to have one of the most efficient and effective delivery processes that we’ve ever had in the history of this country.”
