Former EastEnders star Toby-Alexander Smith has shared a sweet tribute to Emmerdale star wife Amy Walsh on her birthday.

The Tracy Metcalfe actress celebrated her 37th birthday yesterday (March 27), and her husband marked the occasion with a series of pictures on Instagram, including Amy on her wedding day and a few snaps with their daughter Bonnie.

"Happy Birthday to my wonderful Wife and best Mamma ever," Toby-Alexander captioned the post. "We love you and are so lucky to have you. So proud of all the exciting things you are doing right now."

The two soap stars met back in 2019, crossing paths in the audience of Strictly Come Dancing before becoming a couple a year later.

"It was just pure chance that we were both there [on Strictly] that night sat in the front row," Amy previously told Loose Women.

Their daughter Bonnie was born in December 2021, before Toby-Alexander and Amy got engaged in August the following year.

"It was honestly the most perfect day," Amy previously told OK! magazine. "It surpassed all my expectations and more. I felt so surprisingly present on the day and loved every second. Now I'm just in pure bliss."
