  • In February 2023, Ukrainska Pravdaʼs journalists found out that in 2022, Andrii Smyrnov’s brother Ihor purchased property, including an apartment and a plot of land in the Carpathians, at a price significantly lower than the market total of US$0.25 million dollars.

  • It was reported that the brothers could not answer unambiguously where the money for this purchase came from and why the prices were lowered.

  • On 29 March, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Andrii Smyrnov from the position of deputy head of the Office of the President.
