Clatsop Community College graduates will be honored in a ceremony on June 14.
Currently, 104 students have petitioned for graduation, according to a news release from the college.
The event, held at Patriot Hall, will feature guest speaker Margo Lalich, a 1993 graduate of the college and a former Clatsop County public health director. Lalich, who lives in Cannon Beach, is also a founder of the North Coast EOL Collective, which helps people navigate end-of-life experiences.
“We are honored to have Margo as our guest speaker this year,” interim president Teena Toyas said in a statement. “It is important for our graduates to see the amazing things that our alumni have accomplished, and Margo is a great example of that.”
