Forecast:
We are tracking a weakening line of thunderstorms that are working their way down from the north.
They are expected to cross the mountains late this afternoon and the remnants will work their way to the Charlotte area Sunday evening.
There is a chance that these storms could be strong or severe but they could also die out.
Next week appears semi-unsettled, with the possibility of a few scattered showers and thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday.
However, this will quiet down by Wednesday, and we are expected to remain dry until at least Friday.
Temperatures will be seasonably warm most of next week, with highs in the upper 70s.
