Forecast:

  • We are tracking a weakening line of thunderstorms that are working their way down from the north.

  • They are expected to cross the mountains late this afternoon and the remnants will work their way to the Charlotte area Sunday evening.

  • There is a chance that these storms could be strong or severe but they could also die out.

  • Next week appears semi-unsettled, with the possibility of a few scattered showers and thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday.

  • However, this will quiet down by Wednesday, and we are expected to remain dry until at least Friday.

  • Temperatures will be seasonably warm most of next week, with highs in the upper 70s.
