CLEVELAND (WJW) – The storms last night brought four tornadoes across parts of Central Ohio. One EF-2 and 3 EF 0 tornadoes. This ties our record number of tornadoes for the state. We have now seen 62 tornadoes this year alone, the record is 62 set in 1992.

Quiet overnight with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 50s.

We’ll start the day off nice, temperatures around 60 with sunshine. Clouds roll in in the afternoon with a few light passing showers from time to time. Temperatures are cooler, around 70.

The forecast remains unsettled with a low pressure to our north and spokes of energy rotating around it. That means everyday there is a chance for a passing shower or isolated thunderstorm but no day is a washout, 20-30% coverage. Think of it like a pizza with very little pepperoni…

Lower humidity through the weekend and into the following week. Open your windows! Comfort alert!

Clouds common tomorrow with isolated showers around. Much cooler and breezy, highs upper 60’s with wind gusts up to 25 MPH. More of a spring feel. Stalled low over the Great Lakes this weekend. First front Friday. Second front late Saturday into Sunday.

As we head into the weekend, perfect weather to enjoy some of our upcoming events in the area. Remember, at times, sunshine and showers.
