MONDAY: Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Robert Gauthreaux says it will be cold again on Monday with highs in the mid 30s with some sun and clouds.

TUESDAY: Partly sunny on Tuesday with some increasing clouds later in the day. Staying cold with high temperatures in the upper 30s.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy, but staying dry for Wednesday. Chilly with high temperatures in the mid 30s.

THURSDAY: Cloudy on Thursday with a chance for mix likely becoming mostly snow. All snow is expected Thursday night into Friday with accumulation likely. The extent of accumulation will depend on the storm track, and consequently how much (if any) time we spend with rain as opposed to snow. Either way, be prepared for impactful weather starting on Thursday. Temperatures will climb to the mid and upper 30s on Thursday, but will plummet to the low teens Thursday night.

FRIDAY: Snow continues into Friday, especially for the first part of the day. Very cold with high temperatures in the teens. Low temperatures Friday night fall to around zero or below. Strong winds move in Friday and Friday night bringing dangerous wind chills as low as -20 to the region Friday night.

CHRISTMAS EVE: Partly sunny and very cold on Saturday. High temperatures only reach the single digits to around 10. Wind chill values may only get to around zero.

CHRISTMAS DAY: Partly cloudy with highs in the mid teens and lows in the low single digits.
