Floyd Mayweather Makes A Joke Out Of #MeToo Movement

At an unveiling of Floyd Mayweather’s new fitness venture at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas Wednesday (Jan. 9), a Men’s Health reporter spoke to the multi-billion dollar boxing champ about his take on the #MeToo movement that’s been shaking the country. He had no idea what the reporter was talking about and made braggadocious jokes instead.

The reporter, Jordyn Taylor, asked “Money” Mayweather how men can grow in 2018 in light of the #MeToo movement.

He responded, “The who?” When Taylor tried to explain, he jokingly adds, “When you say ‘me too’ my thing is this, when somebody be like ‘I got a Rolls Royce,’ I be like ‘me too.’ When somebody say they got a private jet, I say ‘me too. I got two. Me too.’”

He cleaned it up toward the end of the interview though.

“I mean you live and you learn. I think everyone, if you’re in an uncomfortable position, you have to pray about it, you know, talk about it, and I think, you know, sexual harassment, I don’t think it’s cool at all,” Mayweather said.

The boxer is retired, Men’s Health reports, and has a slew of business ventures including a virtual reality workout experience, opening brick-and-mortar gyms and an app.
