Florida State fan questions Jimbo Fisher's loyalty at Fisher's radio show (Video)

With the rampant speculation about Texas A&M’s interest in hiring Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher, things were bound to get a little awkward at his radio show on Wednesday night.

But for the first 45 minutes of the show, which takes calls from fans on the phone and on location, it was business as usual. One fan asked about pants. Another asked about the defensive line. A young girl asked Fisher to call some trick plays against Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday, a game that can clinch a bowl berth for the Seminoles.

And then this man, Mike, approached the mic.

It did not go well for Mike.

“It’s been kind of a tough season and I remember watching a lot of your press conferences. ” the man said. “You talked about how we need to be committed to the program and keep cheering for the team. And we need to be talking about that. About loyalty to the program. So I’m wondering, where’s the loyalty to the program, Jimbo?”

At that point the microphone was snatched from his hand. And as you can see in the video above, he was escorted (rather rudely) from the premises.

Mike certainly got his point across.

Fisher has been connected to LSU the last two offseasons, and the rumblings about A&M seem more serious than the LSU rumors. FSU finishes out its season on Saturday. We’ll probably get an answer whether Fisher stays in Tallahassee or departs for College Station, soon after.
