Florida Deputy Put on Leave After Altercation with Black Teenager
A Florida sheriff’s deputy has been put on leave after a violent altercation with a black teenager at a county jail.
Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Neil Pizzo can be seen in this September 1 footage lunging for the teenager, who had earlier been arrested on several charges, including cocaine possession. Pizzo wraps his hand around the teenager’s neck, and later can be seen hitting him on the back of the head while scuffling on the jailhouse floor.
