Florence County man accused of charging at person with 13-inch knife

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Florence County 18-year-old is facing charges after allegedly charging at a person with a 13-inch knife, authorities said.

Tremayne Green of Florence was charged with first-degree assault and battery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Green on Monday allegedly charged at a person with the knife, but the victim was not injured, the sheriff’s office said.

As of this writing, Green was still in jail at the Florence County Detention Center, online booking records show.
