The Purdue Boilermakers make their annual trip to Indianapolis when they take on Davidson.

The No. 1 (USA TODAY) Boilermakers are coming off an overtime victory at Nebraska in which Fletcher Loyer took over the scoring responsibilities as the Cornhuskers surrounded Zach Edey. Loyer scored 22 points, and Edey was still plenty involved (11 points, 17 rebounds, 7 blocked shots). Purdue was frigid on 3-pointers (24.1%) and Nebraska had 19 offensive rebounds, allowing it to take 14 more shots than Purdue.

Davidson (7-3) defeated Western Carolina last weekend, bouncing back from 2-point losses to Charlotte and Delaware. Foster Loyer – yep, that's Fletcher's brother – leads the Wildcats (19.5 points, 31 3-pointers on 41.3% accuracy, 5.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 2.3 steals), backed by Sam Mennenga (16.6 points, 7.2 rebounds).

Matt Painter is in his 18th season as Boilermakers coach (394-192). Matt McKillop is in his first season as Davidson coach.
