Flagler Beach business ranked among '15 Best Seafood Restaurants in Florida'
Seafood, one of Florida's favorite cuisines, is a reason why many travel to the Sunshine State and love living here. Last month, a popular travel website released a list of the best 15 seafood restaurants our state has to offer, and a restaurant here in Flagler County made the roster.
Trips To Discover, a website created for readers to find vacation destinations and ideas, included the Flagler Fish Company.
Flagler Fish Company has been serving fresh seafood to Volusia-Flagler county locals and visitors alike since 2005. registered with the "Fresh from Florida" program, the restaurant aims to serve fish, shellfish and produce from the Sunshine State. Guests can dine in and have "food that knocks your flops off" or take home fresh cuts of fish filets, shellfish, and sides to cook yourself with the restaurant's house seasonings.
Flagler Fish Company also serves cuts of prime beef and desserts made in-house.

Four restaurants from the Sarasota-Manatee market were on the Trips To Discover list as well as eateries from Titusville, Key West, Panama City, St. Augustine, Apalachicola, Fort Walton Beach, Pensacola, Atlantic Beach and two in Destin.
Earlier this month, several Volusia-Flagler businesses landed on the first-ever Yelp Top 100 Florida Restaurants list.
The Red Bud Café in Daytona Beach placed the highest, landing at No. 13. The popular crowd-sourced review site noted how the family-run cafe creates dishes fusing cuisines from their native Yugoslavia along with Italy, Australia and the U.S.
Along with Red Bud Café, Millie's Restaurant and Catering in Daytona Beach Shores took the No. 71 spot, with locally-sourced food being their staple. Next, Santorini in DeLand held No. 87, serving authentic Greek cuisine. And then rounding out the list at No. 100 was La Crèperie Kafè, the family-owned Palm Coast restaurant specializing in French cuisine. Incidentally, Millie's Restaurant also was in the spotlight recently thanks to a visit by celebrity chef Guy Fieri.
