Five-vehicle accident causes lane closure on I-565 in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Huntsville Police Department is responding to a multi-vehicle accident on I-565 Monday morning.

According to HPD’s spokesperson, a five-vehicle accident has caused the eastbound lanes of I-565 at Maysville Road to close.

Police say no one was injured in the crash. Eastbound lanes will stay closed until officers can clear the roadway.

Drivers should find alternate routes or expect delays.
